Can you help with the name of an old Martin Sheen film.? - log cabin curtains

I remember the film Martin Sheen in the '70s, I think. He was a man (Martin Sheen) who kidnaps a young girl and took her with him to refer to a small cabin in rural America. It was initially against his will, and quickly gained his trust, so that they the store to get buy materials for the blind. The dealer recognized the material as a special order and the missing child. Finally, the sheriff and his assistants took the cabin, but at that moment she fell in love with her captor. He was mortally wounded. Can someone help me with the name of this movie?
